Oak Ridge Resident charged with Heroin Distribution

Back in April 2017, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office were notified of a man named Steven Dahmer being involved with the distribution of heroin in the neighborhood of Dumont, New Jersey. Steven Dahmer is a twenty-nine (29) year old resident of Oak Ridge, New Jersey.

An investigation began which involved having an undercover agent purchasing the substance from Steven Dahmer. The drug transaction happened in Dumont, New Jersey.

As a result of the investigation conducted in April, Steven Dahmer was arrested on November 29, 2017 at his home in Oak Ridge, New Jersey. Dahmer is being charged with Third-Degree Distribution of Heroin in a quantity less than one-half ounce and Second-Degree Distribution of Heroin within 500 feet of Fred Triplett Park in Bergenfield, New Jersey.

Dahmer is set to appear in Hackensack, New Jersey at the Central Judicial Processing court on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.

All persons are assumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
