STEVEN NORIEGA (DOB: 11/8/1993) of 501 Avalon Drive, Unit 5301, Wood-Ridge, New Jersey, on a drug distribution charge. This arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Officer-In-Charge, Deputy Chief Robert ANZILOTTI.
Steven NORIEGA was the subject of an investigation into marijuana distribution in and around the Englewood, New Jersey area. During the investigation, NORIEGA sold marijuana to an undercover detective from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. On July 13, 2016, NORIEGA voluntarily responded to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office to be charged and processed.
Steven NORIEGA was charged with one count of Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, namely Marijuana, a fourth degree crime. NORIEGA was issued a Summons and released on his own recognizance.
Acting Prosecutor Grewal states that this charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
