On August 22nd, 2025, the arrest of Fuller P. Williams, age 45, was announced by Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw. Fuller P. Williams was charged with third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Disabled Adult, and a disorderly persons offense of Simple Assault. The arrest and charges against Fuller P. Williams were a result of an investigation launched by Officer-in-Charge Captain Willian Dunleavy of the Medford Township Police Department.
According to the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, officers from the Medford Township Police Department responded to the Friends of Cyrus Adult Day Services Program for a suspected case of abuse taking place at the facility. Detectives launched an investigation earlier in the summer that identified Fuller P. Williams, an employee at the facility, to have been abusing an autistic adult patient under his care. Allegedly Fuller P. Williams had used a thin cord to strike the victim, inflicting wounds onto his back and buttocks. Other staff members had discovered the injuries before then calling law enforcement.
The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Fuller P. Williams are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
