On August 28th, 2026, the arrests of Ajahmir S. Cuttino (age 23), Rhyonne S. Jackson (age 24), Ajahwan T. Kenner (age 26), Antrell Monroe (age 24), and Jahad K. Watson (age 24), were announced by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella. All five defendants were charged with first-degree Armed Robbery, second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, second-degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, third-degree Aggravated Assault, and fourth-degree Aggravated Assault by Pointing a Firearm. Rhyonne S. Jackson was additionally charged with second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and third-degree Possession of an Unserialized Weapon. The arrests and charges against Ajahmir S. Cuttino, Rhyonne S. Jackson, Ajahwan T. Kenner, Antrell Monroe, and Jahad K. Watson were a result of an investigation handled by the South Hackensack Police Department, Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, Passaic Police Department, Scranton (PA) Police Department, West Orange Police Department, and Wilkes-Barre City (PA) Police Department.
According to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, on May 9th, 2026, officers from the South Hackensack Police Department met with victims of a robbery and assault incident at the local hospital they were taken to. One of the victims, an adult male, was struck over the head with a metal object later identified to be a handgun during the robbery. After meeting with the victims a joint investigation was initiated by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations Squad and the South Hackensack Police Department. It was uncovered that on May 9th, 2026, five individuals, one in possession of a handgun, physically assaulted the aforementioned victim before taking his personal belongings and valuables and fleeing from the scene. The getaway vehicle was identified by detectives to be a black Jeep Grand Cherokee, and during the upcoming months Ajahmir S. Cuttino, Rhyonne S. Jackson, Ajahwan T. Kenner, Antrell Monroe, and Jahad K. Watson were all identified as the suspects in the incident.
The charges and arrest warrants against all five defendants were issued on August 26th, 2026. The following day with help from the Passaic Police Department and the West Orange Police Department, detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and South Hackensack Police Department were able to locate Rhyonne S. Jackson, Ajahwan T. Kenner, and Antrell Monroe before taking them into custody without incident. A court-authorized search warrant was executed at Rhyonne S. Jackson’s residence in Passaic, New Jersey by the Bergen County Regional SWAT Team that recovered an unserialized loaded high-capacity magazine firearm. Later the same day with help from the Wilkes-Barre City (PA) Police Department and the Scranton (PA) Police Department, Ajahmir S. Cuttino and Jahad K. Watson were located and taken into custody in Pennsylvania.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Ajahmir S. Cuttino, Rhyonne S. Jackson, Ajahwan T. Kenner, Antrell Monroe, and Jahad K. Watson are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
