Isaiah A. Goodwin of Easton, Pennsylvania, Charged for Firearms and Robbery Offenses

On June 19th, 2025, the arrest of Isaiah A. Goodwin, age 22, was announced by Warren County Acting Prosecutor Jessica L. Cardone. Isaiah A. Goodwin was charged with two counts of second-degree Possession of a Handgun Without First Obtaining a Permit, fourth-degree Possession of Hollow Nose Bullets, four counts of fourth-degree Possession of a Large Capacity Magazine, second-degree Possession of a Firearm While in Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, third-degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance With the Intent to Distribute, third-degree Eluding Law Enforcement While Operating a Motor Vehicle, first-degree Robbery, third-degree Burglary, second-degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, fourth-degree Aggravated Assault, and third-degree Theft of a Motor Vehicle. The arrest and charges against Isaiah A. Goodwin were a result of investigations handled by the Lopatcong Township Police Department, Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, New Jersey State Police Fugitive Unit, U.S. Marshal’s New Jersey Fugitive Task Force, U.S. Marshal’s Eastern Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, Northampton County District Attorney’s Office, Northampton County Auto Theft Task Force, Slate Belt Regional Police Department, and the Bushkill Township Police Department

According to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, a routine motor vehicle stop was performed on Pohatcong Alley in Pohatcong Township, New Jersey, at around 2:00 a.m. on June 14th, 2025. During the search detectives were able to recover a loaded 9mm handgun, (3) fifteen round magazines, (1) twenty round magazine, hollow point ammunition, and an unspecified amount of methamphetamine. The vehicle was linked back to Isaiah A. Goodwin and he was arrested without incident, however he was later released on pre-trial monitoring and with non-monetary conditions. The searched vehicle was impounded and placed to be held at Rossnagle’s Service Center. The following day at approximately 10:30 p.m. an armed robbery was reported at the Rossnagle’s Service Center. Officers obtained information about a black pickup truck fleeing westbound on route 22. While enroute to the scene a vehicle matching the description of the suspected truck was seen by officers. A motor vehicle stop was attempted but the vehicle began to elude police. It was determined that the suspected vehicle is the one linked back to Isaiah A. Goodwin, and it was stolen from where it was being held in Rossnagle’s Service Center. Isaiah A. Goodwin was located and arrested in June 18th, 2025, in Easton, Pennsylvania

The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Isaiah A. Goodwin are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
