On September 24th, 2025, the arrest of Tabitha Bundrick, age 38, was announced by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg Jr.. Tabitha Bundrick was charged with first-degree Robbery, second-degree Murder, second-degree Burglary, and second-degree Assault. The arrest and charges against Tabitha Bundrick were a result of an investigation handled by Former Detective Manuel Cordova and Detective Raymond Low of the Narcotics Borough Manhattan North Major Case Task Force, and Detective Keisha Lawhorne of the 30th Precinct Squad.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, it’s alleged that on multiple occasions between April 2023 and February 2024 Tabitha Bundrick stole personal belongings from men she purposefully gave fentanyl-laced drugs to. Items that were robbed included phones, money, watches, clothes, and sneakers. On April 30th, 2023, in Washington Heights, New York, Tabitha Bundrick approached two men on the street under the guise of selling them soap. After talking with the men the defendant had offered to provide sexual favors in exchange for money. Tabitha Bundrick then allegedly broke into an empty apartment on West 159th Street before offering both men fentanyl-laced drugs claiming it was cocaine. Both men fell unconscious until the following morning when one victim woke up to find the other victim, 42-year-old Mario Paullan, still lying on the ground while dead. The victim had no recollection of the previous night and realized most of his personal belongings were missing including his cell phone. On September 27th, 2023, in Washington Heights, New York, similarly to the aforementioned incident Tabitha Bundrick had met 39-year-old Miguel Navez in public before the two went back to the victim’s apartment on West 158th Street. After entering the apartment the defendant allegedly provided him with fentanyl-laced drugs. Later on September 30th, 2023, the victim’s brother had found him dead in his apartment with several personal belongings being missing including his cellphone. On February 25th, 2024, in upper Manhattan, New York, the defendant was following 34-year-old Abrihan Fernandez as he was walking to his apartment on West 144th Street. The two individuals struck a conversation with each other before Tabitha Bundrick was invited into the victim’s apartment. After entering Abrihan Fernandez’ apartment, the defendant allegedly provided him with fentanyl-laced drugs before entering and exiting the residence several times. It’s alleged that Tabitha Bundrick rigged the building’s door to more easily take out several large bags including the victim’s backpack. A few hours after entering the apartment the defendant had taken a cab back to her own residence allegedly with several bags from Abrihan Fernandez’ apartment. Over the next several days Abrihan Fernandez’ credit card was used for numerous charges and purchases.
The Attorney General’s Office stated that the charges against Tabitha Bundrick are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
