William Credle of Bronx, New York, Charged for Arranged Meetup and Raping a 15-Year-Old Girl Met Through a Dating App

On December 2nd, 2025, the arrest of William Credle, age 24, was announced by Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark. William Credle was charged with second-degree Unlawful Imprisoment, five counts of third-degree Rape, three counts of Sexual Misconduct, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The arrest and charges against William Credle were a result of an investigation handled by Officer Crystal Williams from the NYPD’s Bronx Special Victim’s Squad

According to the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, on November 3rd, 2025, William Credle allegedly arranged a car pickup to transport a girl he met on the online dating app Wizz. The defendant allegedly set up the transportation to pick up the girl at her home in New Jersey, and bring her to his residence in Bronx, New York. At approximately 12:00 a.m. on November 4th, 2025, the victim arrived at the building that William Credle lived in. Allegedly the defendant provided the victim with marijuana and an unknown drink that she reported made her sick. Afterwards William Credle allegedly raped the victim multiple times while she was under the influence of the marijuana and the unknown drink. At approximately 12:30 a.m. the same morning the victim’s mother had searched through the girl’s phone and found the messages between her and William Credle, including the transportation arrangements. The victim’s mother drove to the defendant’s address while calling 911. Once the mother arrived at the building she called out for the victim, however while the victim attempted to leave Willian Credle allegedly prevented her from doing so. At approximately 6:00 p.m. on November 4th, 2025, NYPD Emergency Service Unit Officers entered into William Credle’s apartment and subsequently arrested him while transporting the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals Jacobi.


The Bronx District Attorney’s Office stated that the charges against William Credle are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
