Gary Johnson of Allentown, New Jersey, Charged for Narcotics Offenses

On June 12th, 2025, the arrest of Gary Johnson, age 45, was announced by Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Gary Johnson was charged with distribution of more than 5 pounds but less than 25 pounds of marijuana, possession of more than 25 pounds of marijuana with intent to distribute, conspiracy to distribute more than 25 pounds of marijuana, possession of more than 5 ounces of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of more than 1 pound but less than 5 pounds of hashish with intent to distribute, possession of psilocybin with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of psilocybin, possession of a firearm during a controlled dangerous substance offense, financial facilitation, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest and charges against Gary Johnson were a result of a joint-investigation involving detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, United States Postal Inspection Service, Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, Brick Township Police Department Street Crimes Unit, and the Allentown Police Department

According to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, on May 28th, 2025, detectives discovered that a residence in Allentown, New Jersey, and a property in Trenton, New Jersey were being used to store, move, and distribute cocaine, THC, and psilocybin products. Surveillance was established at the Allentown residence which captured Gary Johnson leaving the property and entering a vehicle traveling to Asbury Park, New Jersey. Police pursued and captured Gary Johnson without incident in Asbury, New Jersey, after he exited the vehicle after it was parked. A court ordered search-warrant was executed on both the Allentown and Trenton properties and recovered approximately 600 grams of cocaine, 34.5 pounds of marijuana, 3 pounds of THC products, 47 pounds of psilocybin, and $60,000. 


The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Gary Johnson are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
