According to the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, Princesa Encarnacion Soto, 21, got into contact with her ex-boyfriend, Robert Stother, over chatting on social media before arranging to go meet him at his house in Bronx, New York at 2295 Grand Concourse. Between July 14th and July 22nd this year, allegedly Robert Stother had tied up Princesa Encarnacion Soto with rope and struck her repeatedly with a hammer and inflicted slash wounds across her body. On July 22nd, 2025, Princesa Encarnacion Soto’s body was found on the staircase of Robert Stother’s residence. Other residents of the building reported seeing Robert Stother carrying out several large garbage bags allegedly containing rope, pillows, blankets, towels, and bedsheets covered in blood. Allegedly Nadia Jorge had told a neighbor to call the police to report the body found in the stairwell.
The Bronx District Attorney’s Office stated that the charges against Robert Stother and Naida Jorge are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
