On May 15th, 2026, the arrest of Tiana Eusebe, age 34, was announced by Nassau County District Attorney Anne T. Donnelly. Tiana Eusebe was charged with second-degree Forgery as a D felony, third-degree Attempted Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance as a C felony, and third-degree Attempted Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance as a D felony. The arrest and charges against Tiana Eusebe were a result of an investigation handled by the Drug Enforcement Administration New York Enforcement Division’s Long Island SPEAR Team, the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, the New York State Department of Health Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Nassau County Police Department’s Narcotics Vice Squad

According to the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, Tiana Eusebe was employed as a medication supervisor at Island Assisted Living in Hempstead, New York, since August 12th, 2024. Nearly a year after the defendant was hired the administrator of the facility began an internal investigation to respond to claims of residents’ medications being mishandled. A subsequent joint investigation was initiated by the Drug Enforcement Administration New York Enforcement Division’s Long Island SPEAR Team in partnership with the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, the New York State Department of Health Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Nassau County Police Department’s Narcotics Vice Squad.

The aforementioned investigation uncovered that on February 25th, 2025, Tiana Eusebe allegedly submitted two prescriptions, for ninety 10mg oxycodone pills each, to a pharmacy without authorization. One of these prescriptions was written for a resident who was previously struggling with drug abuse and therefore had no recent narcotics prescriptions. Surveillance footage had captured Tiana Eusebe going through residents’ medications before putting oxycodone pills into a brown paper bag that she took outside the building to her vehicle. On another date the same surveillance captured Tiana Eusebe rummaging through a recent delivery of medication for residents before putting oxycodone pills into her purse and leaving the office with them. On March 1st, 2025, video footage depicted the defendant allegedly forging a prescription for herself and submitting it to the facility’s pharmacy requesting ninety 10mg oxycodone pills. Tiana Eusebe was arrested by detectives from the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office on May 14th, 2026.

The Nassau County District Attorney’s Office stated that the charges against Tiana Eusebe are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
