On February 5th, 2025, charges against Fei Min, age 41, were announced by Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz. Fei Min was charged with two counts of second-degree Assault, Unauthorized Practice, and second-degree Reckless Endangerment

According to the Queens District Attorney’s Office, the 57-year old victim reported visiting Fei Min’s salon, Princess Beauty Inc., over a three year period starting in June 2021. Over this time period, the victim reportedly was receiving microneedling treatments that included botox, stem cells, collagen, and other injectables. Allegedly on July 4th, 2024, the victim returned to the salon for a skin plumping procedure. Fei Min then injected the victim with unknown substances on her neck about 140 times. Following the treatment, the victim began to experience painful swelling, blisters, itchiness, redness, and burning across her neck. She returned to Princess Beauty Inc. on July 18th in hopes to remedy the painful reaction to the prior procedure. Fei Min proceeded to inject unknown substances into the victim’s neck again, in an attempt to combat the pain and swelling. Approximately a month later, the victim returned a third time for further treatment, including microneedling and more injections, to reduce or remove the bumps still covering her neck. However, the additional procedures caused further pain and worsened the swelling, burning, and itchiness, subsequently causing bleeding and scarring that left the victim’s neck disfigured.

An investigation into the incident revealed that while Fei Min held a valid cosmetology license, her business license expired in March 2021. Fei Min also didn’t possess the required licenses to administer injections of any kind.
The Queens District Attorney’s Office stated that the charges against Fei Min are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
