Jonathan Mancinelli of North Arlington was arrested and charged with both Possession of Child Pornography and Distribution of Child Pornography. The investigation into the case was led by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

On March 13, 2020, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit implemented a search warrant at the home of Jonathan Mancinelli during a preexisting child pornography investigation. The investigation revealed that Mancinelli used the internet to download and view sexually explicit images of underage children. He also shared roughly 2,350 files online.

Jonathan Mancinelli was arrested and charged with one count of Distribution Of Child Pornography, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4(B)5(A)iii, in an amount greater than 1,000 files, a 1st degree crime; and Possession Of Child Pornography, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4(B)5(B)iii, a 3rd degree crime. Mancinelli was transported to Bergen County Jail to await his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ. The charges are accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unto proven guilty.
