Ryan J. Curtin of Oakland, New Jersey, Charged with Invasion of Privacy and Child Pornography Offenses

On August 14th, 2025, the arrest of Ryan J. Curtin, age 25, was announced by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella. Ryan J. Curtin was charged with two counts of second-degree production of child pornography, one count of third-degree possession of child pornography, and seven counts of third-degree invasion of privacy. The arrest and charges against Ryan J. Curtin were a result of an investigation launched by Chief Matthew Finck of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, and Chief Brian Lyman of the Ramsey Police Department

According to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, a report was made at Tiger Schulman’s Martial Arts at 885 Route 17 South in Ramsey, New Jersey. Responding officers were called to remove a hidden camera that was discovered inside of one of the establishment’s public restrooms. Detectives from the Ramsey Police Department allege that Ryan J. Curtin was the individual that hid the camera and recorded several female victims in various states of undress, some victims being children. Police located and arrested Ryan J. Curtin on August 13th, 2025, in Paramus, New Jersey


The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Ryan J. Curtin are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
