According to the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, a fight was initiated between a group of male and female patrons outside on 3233 East Tremont Avenue at approximately 4:25 a.m. on July 20th, 2025. Allegedly in the middle of the altercation, James Dillon entered his vehicle that was parked nearby, a Mitsubishi SUV, and drove it towards the group striking two of the women while traveling at a high rate of speed. Allegedly James Dillon then executed a U-turn before striking a third woman from the group, proceeding to drag her under the vehicle for an unspecified distance before fleeing the scene. One of the victims required multiple surgeries for pelvic fractures and a shattered collarbone, while another victim suffered from two instances of brain bleeding and multiple fractures to her left ankle.
The Bronx District Attorney’s Office stated that the charges against James Dillon are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
