On April 1st, 2026, the arrest of Dalin Brown, age 24, was announced by Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Dalin Brown was charged with Aggravated Arson, Burglary, Bias Intimidation, Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Trespass. The arrest and charges against Dalin Brown were a result of an investigation handled by Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit-Arson Squad, Manchester Township Police Department Detective Bureau, Ocean County Fire Marshal’s Office, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit.
According to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, at approximately 9:55 a.m. on March 30th, 2026, a burglary was reported on 12th Street in Manchester, New Jersey. Responding officers from the Manchester Township Police Department discovered an extinguished fire in the living room and antisemetic carvings on the interior walls and door. A joint investigation was initiated that revealed the fire originated from the south wall of the living room. It was also determined that the fire was incendiary and was started using unspecified combustibles, and it’s alleged that Dalin Brown is the individual responsible for starting the fire and carving the antisemetic rhetoric on the door and walls.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Dalin Brown are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
