The arrest and charges against Emmanuel Almonte, Jender A. Santos Ulloa, Marolyn E. Mosquea Fernandez, and Armando Cuevas Cepeda were a result of an investigation handled by Chief Matthew Finck of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and Chief Andrew R. McGurr of the Teaneck Police Department.
According to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, on August 3rd, 2025, at approximately 5:00 a.m. an armed carjacking was reported at Palisades Avenue in Teaneck, New Jersey. Responding officers from the Teaneck Police Department located the victims that had just returned to their residence after being in New York earlier. According to the victims, they were pulling into their driveway when a white Acura TLX swiftly drove behind them and blocked the driveway. Two masked individuals exited the vehicle, armed with weapons, and ordered the victims to lay face down to the ground. The assailants stole cash and various jewelry from the victims’ car before one of them entered to drive off with the stolen car, the second masked individual then entered the white Acura TLX and followed close behind. Detectives determined that the white Acura TLX used in the carjacking had a stolen New Jersey license plate, which led to the same vehicle found to have been involved in other incidents in neighboring regions. The investigation led to Emmanuel Almonte, Jender A. Santos Ulloa, Marolyn E. Mosquea Fernandez, and Armando Cuevas Cepeda being identified as the individuals responsible for the carjacking and robbery.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Emmanuel Almonte, Jender A. Santos Ulloa, Marolyn E. Mosquea Fernandez, and Armando Cuevas Cepeda are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
