Jaheim Wilson and Oleyah Brown of Stockton, California, Charged for Burglary Incident

On August 8th, 2025, the arrest of both Jaheim Wilson and Oleyah Brown, ages 23 and 21, was announced by Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Jaheim Wilson and Oleyah Brown were charged with Home Invasion Burglary, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. The arrest and charges against Jaheim Wilson and Oleyah Brown were a result of an investigation launched by Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, Point Pleasant Borough Police Department, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit

According to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, at approximately 1:38 p.m. on August 7th, 2025, gunshots and a home invasion were reported at a residence on Barton Avenue in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Responding officers found the aforementioned residence with the rear door having been forced open to gain access inside the property. Following investigations revealed that two individuals had forced their way in, one male and one female, while the male suspect was carrying a handgun on him. The handgun was used to threaten the individual as the burglars took several personal valuables and items before a single shot was fired and they fled from the scene. Detectives were able to identify Jaheim Wilson and Oleyah Brown as the suspects in the burglary incident. Both were located and arrested without incident in Toms River, New Jersey on August 7th, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m. 


The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Jaheim Wilson and Oleyah Brown are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
