Marc S. Green of Teaneck, New Jersey, Charged for Sexual Assault on Three Juveniles

On March 21st, 2025, the arrest of Marc S. Green, age 62, was announced by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella. Marc S. Green was charged with five counts of second-degree sexual assault by sexual contact, and three counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest and charges against Marc S. Green were a result of an investigation launched by Chief Matthew Finck of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, and Officer in Charge Joseph Delaney of the Garfield Police Department

According to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, on March 19th, 2025, their Special Victims Unit was contacted by the Garfield Police Department about an alleged case of sexual assault against three students at the Bergen Arts & Science Charter School in Garfield, New Jersey. An investigation was launched and revealed that Marc S. Green was acting in as a certified substitute teacher at the Bergen Arts & Science Charter School when he allegedly committed acts of sexual assault against three students. Marc S. Green was located and arrested in Paramus, New Jersey, on March 20th, 2025.


The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Marc S. Green are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
