Five Ocean County Men Indicted on Narcotics and Weapons Offenses

On February 25th, 2026,  the arrest of Tyrese Lett, Kylah Parks, Rameek Peace, Kyle Murrin, and Moises Martinez, ages 25, 28, 38, 29, and 36, was announced by Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Tyrese Lett and Kylah Parks were charged with Possession of Five Ounces or More of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of More than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin with Intent to Distribute, Conspiracy to Possess Five Ounces or More of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Oxycodone, Possession of Morphine, Possession of Alprazolam, Possession of Amphetamines, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Financial Facilitation. Rameek Peace was charged with Distribution of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine, Conspiracy to Possess Five Ounces or More of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, and being a Certain Person not to Possess a Weapon. Kyle Murrin was charged with Possession of Hydrocodone Pills with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance Without a Valid Prescription, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Nuisance. Moises Martinez was charged with being a Certain Person not to Possess a Weapon. The arrest and charges against [Defendant] were a result of an investigation handled by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Asset Forfeiture Unit, Federal Bureau of Investigation Safe Streets Task Force-Red Bank, Toms River Township Police Department Emergency Services Unit, Toms River Township Police Department K-9 Unit, Toms River Township Police Department Special Enforcement Team, Berkeley Township Police Department, Brick Township Police Department Street Crimes Unit, and the Brick Township Police Department Special Emergency Response Team

According to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, on February 19th, 2026, both stationary and mobile surveillance was established within suspected residences and hotel rooms throughout Toms River, New Jersey. These are related to the defendants and ongoing investigations into illegal narcotics distribution in the area. On duty detectives in Lakehurst, New Jersey, were able to identify and monitor a vehicle that was being driven by Tyrese Lett and Kylah Parks present as a passenger. A routine motor vehicle stop was conducted on the vehicle that led to both Tyrese Lett and Kylah Parks were taken into custody without incident. Court-authorized search warrants were executed by the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force at Tyrese Lett’s vehicle, hotel room in Toms River, New Jersey. Detectives were able to seize 49 grams of cocaine, 70 grams of crack cocaine, 16 bricks of heroin, morphine pills, alprazolam pills, oxycodone pills, drug paraphernalia, and approximately $25,000 in U.S. currency. On this same day Rameek Peace was seen by detectives leaving his residence and walking around the area of route 37 before taking him into custody without incident. The Toms River Township Police Department Emergency Services Unit executed a court-authorized search warrant on two suspected residences in Toms River, New Jersey. Detectives were able to seize a Keltec 9mm firearm, and the discovery of Moises Martinez present in one of the homes which led to his arrest. Additionally another court-authorized search warrant executed by the Brick Township Police Department Street Crimes Unit had recovered 20 grams of codeine, hydrocodone pills, and drug paraphernalia related to packaging and distributing narcotics. Kyle Murrin was present at this residence and was arrested without incident. 


The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Tyrese Lett, Kylah Parks, Rameek Peace, Kyle Murrin, and Moises Martinez are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
