Florelvi Paulino Vasquez of Hackensack, New Jersey, Charged for Sexual Offenses Against a Minor

On March 18th, 2025, the arrest of Florelvi Paulino Vasquez, age 44, was announced by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella. Florelvi Paulino Vasquez was charged with second-degree sexual assault, and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest and charges against Florelvi Paulino Vasquez were a result of an investigation launched by Chief Matthew Finck of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, Chief Michael Antista of the Hackensack Police Department, and Sheriff Anthony Cureton of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, on November 9th, 2024, their Special Victims Unit was contacted by the Hackensack Police Department regarding an alleged case of sexual assault on a child. Detectives alleged that Florelvi Paulino Vasquez had sexually assaulted and endangered a juvenile multiple times between November 2017 and November 2018 in Hackensack, New Jersey. Following the investigation, Florelvi Paulino Vasquez was located and arrested in Hackensack, New Jersey, on February 19th, 2025. 


The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Florelvi Paulino Vasquez are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
