On March 10th, 2025, the arrest of Hector R. Estrada Roca, age 37, was announced by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella. Hector R. Estrada Roca was charged with three counts of second-degree sexual assault, and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest and charges against Hector R. Estrada Roca were a result of an investigation launched by Chief Matthew Finck of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, and Chief Yakup Zoklu of the Cliffside Park Police Department.
According to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, on March 7th, 2025, their Special Victims Unit was contacted by the Teaneck Police Department about an alleged incident of sexual assault on a juvenile that had taken place in the past. Authorities alleged that Hector R. Estrada Roca had sexually assaulted and endangered a child under the age of thirteen on several occasions between 2021 and 2023. Hector R. Estrada Roca was located and arrested in Paramus, New Jersey, and held in the Bergen County Jail until his first court appearance.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Hector R. Estrada Roca are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
